We have explored different ways to learn.

It was really fun we had to pretend we were detectives and we had to remember our Learning objective!

Can you remember some of the things we did?

Today it’s world book day,so everybody has dressed up as a character from their favourite book. In the afternoon, we did some world book day activities like; word searches, crosswords, quizzes and more! Everyone was a different character and we all had fun.

Grasshoppers have been learning different shades and added them to their fruit and vegetable drawings. They had a lot of fun, challenging themselves (by drawing hard fruits like an avocado). We also gave some of our vegetables to our crazy class creatures (Teddy and Alfie).

Wellbeing and Safer Internet Day

February9
Year 5 have spent today doing activities on wellbeing to support Mental health awareness day and celebrate Safer Internet Day.
We wrote our worries down and placed them in a worry bottle, Miss Goodenough then added Diet Coke and mentos to make them explode! We also watched videos about anxiety and feeling worried and looked at who we could talk to if we were worried. These people were written down on an outline of our hands and will go on display. We also talked about our class worry box, KCAR and coping with different feelings,
Safer Internet Day was celebrated by listening to an assembly from the digital leaders and activities in class such as bingo, class question wall, crosswords and finding SID around school! Did you see a poster about SID?
Hope you all have a great half term, enjoy your week off!
